Once the
breakfast finished, I write a bit and Claude builds Lego with the boys. Our
Lepage-Lavoie friends will come get us and visit the trailer before we go for
brunch. A lot of interest for our chariot (as Claude calls it)! The restaurant
is close to the farmers’ market in a neighbourhood which has gentrified in the
last years: many coffee shops, restaurants, little shops and very nice
furniture and homeware stores. The Hallows where we are going is in an old
Chinese restaurant, Golden Dragon. The décor has not changed, the plates are
the old ones and the rest is a mix-match old fashion. Very interesting! The
menu is certainly different: gastropub style with local ingredients. After
lunch, which was delicious, we go to Architectural Design. This store had
opened before we left but they took it to another level since we moved by
multiplying it by at least 10 (garden furniture, plants, fountains, dishes,
glasses, decorative elements, etc.!). The suitcases and the trailer and the
wallet are too small to shop there, however it is very nice to browse around.
We are expected at our friends, Phyllis and Ernie, for dinner but we have time
for a drink on the terrace of a new restaurant. We get our car back and head
south to the country side where our friends bought a new house. Once again, it
is wonderful visit with our friends.
