The day
before, I had promised a breakfast in the trailer to Victor and Colin. We got
up, packed up the bed and were 6 at eating crepes and eggs in the trailer. I
cleaned the dishes with Victor camping’s way, those were not going in the house
to the dish washer! It is very fun to be with young boys. It reminds us of
another time. After breakfast, it is time to go buy school supplies with Amélie
and the boys. It is incredible what a second grade teacher may request! We
drove by our former house and could talk with Wayne our front neighbour who is
still in his house. Saskatoon has changed, new roads, a new bridge, new
businesses, new neighbourhoods, however many things are still the same. When we
came back, we sent to the river landing by the farmers’ market and then to the
Berry Barn. Even the Berry Barn has improved: gluten free items on the menu
along with the good Saskatoon berries! The road to get there is still very
pretty and has also changed with a new distillery, a park for kids and a corn
maze. On the way back, I do some shopping with Amélie for the dinner. Broadway
street still has nice little stores and the new Sobeys in Rosewood is huge. We
dine at our friends and have a very nice evening.
