Day 7 (August 19, 2016)

We stop in town for a gluten free breakfast! We then head toward Saskatoon. There is a lot of activities in the fields and few machines on the road. Nothing very particular today except that the Yellowhead East of Saskatoon is being expended and this change a bit the scenery! We have not seen any other Alto trailer since we left but we will drive the last 50 km toward Saskatoon following one plated from Quebec. Get ready Saskatoon for the Alto invasion!

We are expected at our friends Amélie and Hubert. Hubert did his masters and his PhD under Claude’s supervision. We’ve known them for a long time! Victor, 7 years old, and Colin, 4 years old, are also very happy to see us. Victor is a big help to Claude getting the trailer set up for the stay and he does not understand why we will not sleep in the house. As I am now allergic to cats and dogs, it is better to limit my encounters with Maple their very big hairy dog! Dinner is planned at the Lepage-Lavoie household! Gabrielle, Armand, Julianne and Renée prepared us a very good meal! It is wonderful to be with good friends!
